Best Places In Europe To Propose

Picking the perfect place to propose can be difficult. Some people prefer to keep it simple with their proposal. Others prefer to make it special and propose away from home. It is completely up to you where you want to do it. However, try not to make the setting too perfect. 

Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is a wonderful place to visit. It is also a great country for a weekend away. City breaks are great for a quick little breakaway. It is an old city but it is one of the best in Europe. Many places are full of mosaic art which is great for a proposal as well. Not to mention the wonderful cathedral, La Sagrada Familia. 

Edinburgh, Scotland

Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in the United Kingdom. It is one of the most historical as well. It is a fantastic cobbled city which is built int a mountain. Not to mention it has a fantastic castle as well. 

It is a breath of fresh air compared to modern cities due to its historic architecture. Drop down to one knee on the wonderful sands of the Portobello beach propose in at the castle. There are many wonderful places where you can propose in this wonderful city in Scotland. Edinburgh is a great city to wear vintage jewellery as it blends in perfectly with the surroundings of this historical city. 

Grainau, Germany

Germany is a wonderful country. Dresden, Berlin and Munich are great for a quick breakaway. However, Grainau is probably not a location that comes straight to mind for a proposal. Although it is one that you should consider. There is a bar called the Panorama 2962 bar which overlooks the alpine peaks. What better place is there to propose when you can see the top of the peaks which stretch across Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. 

Eze, France

This wonderful area is where Walt Disney fell in love with the Riviera that sits over the Mediterranean sea. Not to mention that it is filled with amazing and luxurious botanic gardens. The castle hotel that is built into the flower-filled terraces is gorgeous to propose to your other half. 

Ibiza, Spain

Last but not least, Ibiza. A wonderful Spanish island that is often associated with clubs and boat parties. There are many places scattered across this island that offer a great place to propose. Ibiza is home to some of the most perfect sunsets where the orange sky lights up the whole island. 

A walk in the early hours of the morning across the beach could be a great pleasure to get down onto one knee with those waves crashing in the background. Seems like the perfect place for the sun to shine on that emerald ring that you are proposing with as well.
