I was super excited to try the brand new Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer and it seems like I wasn’t alone because it sold four times more than forecasted on launch day at Space NK! I have swatches of all the shades and so I thought I had better share them with you before they start selling out! Here’s what you need to know.
What is Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer?

The Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer is a lightweight and easy-to-apply tinted moisturiser designed to deliver for a natural no-makeup look. It promises long-lasting comfort and coverage.
You can apply it with fingers if you like as it can be blended like a moisturiser, however, I tried it with the Clinique Buff Brush that I love and really enjoyed applying it like that.
It provides smooth, even wear that feels light as skincare, and is enriched with vitamin E to protect the skin from free radicals whilst SPF20 protects from the UV rays without stickiness.
The formula softly blurs and reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines with a natural, skin-like, radiant finish.
It is available in 24 flexible shades.

My Review of Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer
My first impressions of the new Tinted Moisturiser from Rare Beauty are really good. I want to wear test it for a bit longer before I complete this section fully, but so far so good.
It feels super hydrating on the skin and definitely delivers a lovely comfortable skin feel. I am impressed with the coverage which is light on the first layer, and can be built up to a medium effortlessly with an extra layer wherever I need it.
The texture is super smooth and luxurious, with enough creaminess to make it glide on to the skin and blend out easily.
It is great on pores and fine lines, and gives the skin a really nice natural looking radiant finish, that doesn’t look like makeup.
So far, I think the longevity is good, although I haven’t left the house today, so I want to test it in more strenuous circumstances before I give my final verdict on how well it wears.
The shade range seems pretty inclusive, especially as each shade is flexible and will stretch over a few skin tones. I’ll be back with a fuller review as soon as I can. Please do let me know if you have any questions at all. You can message me on Instagram.
